Warranty Policy |

We are serious about our professional services and business. We strive to provide the highest level of support and products. KNS Inc will support its Super Track S-Series products with an exclusive TWO (2) YEAR, 100% Warranty on PARTS from KNS, and a ONE (1) YEAR Warranty on LABOR from Authorized Dealer (Seller).
The KNS SuperTrack A/S/Z-Series Limited Warranty is applicable to the complete antenna system including all above deck equipment (radome, pedestal, antenna and electronics) and below deck equipment (Antenna Control Unit). This warranty excludes television monitors, satellite receivers, accessories or computers, whether or not provided by KNS. Televisions, satellite receivers, computers and accessories are covered under the applicable warranties of their respective manufacturers.
The Limited Warranty is valid for the TERM* (parts and labor as cited above) from the date of installation on the vessel, or the TERM beginning with shipment from KNS facilities plus TWO (2) months, whichever occurs first. Original installation must be accomplished by, or under supervision of, an authorized KNS dealer for the Limited Warranty to be valid and in force.
Please completely fill in warranty form provided, including authorized Dealer signature, and return to KNS as soon as possible or fill in product registration form on KNS Inc. website (www.kns-kr.com/new/sub03.php)
During the applicable Warranty Period outlined above, dealer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of the Warranty will be, at KNS’ sole discretion and option, repair or replacement of the defective product. Components that customer claims to be defective must be available to KNS for inspection and evaluation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by KNS, customs clearance for all replacement parts under the warranty or otherwise will be customer’s sole responsibility.
Parts that are evaluated by the Dealer to be defective under the terms of the warranty must be returned to KNS at the Dealer’s expense. KNS will evaluate the defective part and provide dealer with new, rebuilt, refurbished or alternate equipment (or part thereof) of equal or improved quality, as exchange equipment (or part thereof) to replace eligible defective equipment (or part thereof). Any alternate equipment (or part thereof) will meet or exceed the specifications of the replaced equipment (or part thereof). Rebuilt or refurbished equipment may bear cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance.
Parts considered defective under the terms of the warranty will be returned to the Dealer pre-paid and with the same shipping priority with which the part was shipped to KNS Inc., unless instructed otherwise. KNS Inc. will make its very best effort to evaluate, repair or replace the defective part in an expedient manner.
KNS will determine whether the reported problem is covered by this Warranty. If KNS determines that the problem is covered, KNS will authorize repair or replacement of the defective product, as deemed appropriate by KNS in its sole discretion. For clarification purposes, any technical support provided by KNS will be for the sole purpose of fulfilling KNS’ warranty obligations. If KNS determines that Dealer is using technical support as a substitute for training of dealer’s personnel, then such technical support will be subject to additional charges at KNS’ then prevailing unit rate for such services.
NOTE: All products returned to KNS under the warranty program must be accompanied by a KNS Repair and Maintenance Authorization (RMA) number, which is issued to the Dealer by KNS Inc. prior to shipment. Any packages without a RMA number will be returned to the sender.
*The Limited Warranty is valid for the TERM (parts and labor as cited in the Limited Warranty policy)
when:
The warranty form or product registration is completed and submitted -- The TERM commences from the date of installation on the vessel.
OR
No product registration is submitted -- The TERM commences from 60days after the date of
Shipment from KNS facilities.
NOTE: Original installation must be accomplished by, or under the supervision of, an authorized KNS Dealer for the KNS Limited Warranty to be valid and in force. The warranty form included in each warranty packet must be completed and signed by an authorized Dealer and returned to KNS as soon as possible.
There are no other terms or conditions of this warranty expressed or implied.
